Kitchen Refurbishment Project Completed – Functional Upgrade Delivered
We recently completed a full kitchen refurbishment project for one of our clients, delivering a modern, practical upgrade designed to improve functionality, storage capacity, and overall layout. This project was carefully planned and executed to ensure minimal disruption while achieving a high quality, long lasting finish.
Project Overview
The existing kitchen layout no longer met the client’s operational needs, with limited storage and inefficient use of space. Our brief was to carry out a complete kitchen fit out that improved workflow, safety, and usability while aligning with current building and health and safety standards.
Scope of Kitchen Refurbishment Works
The project began with a full strip out and safe disposal of all existing kitchen units, worktops, and fixtures. We then constructed an additional dedicated storage room to maximise space efficiency, complete with a fire rated door to meet compliance requirements.
A new stud partition wall was installed to redefine the layout, along with the creation of a purpose built serving hatch linking the kitchen directly to the meeting room. This improved functionality and made the space more practical for daily use and staff requirements.
The refurbishment was completed with full redecoration works, including walls and woodwork, followed by the supply and installation of a new kitchen system in line with the approved design plans. This included the installation of two new electrical induction hobs, providing a safer and more energy efficient cooking solution.
The Result
The finished kitchen now offers a clean, modern, and highly functional environment with improved storage, better flow, and enhanced safety. The project was delivered on time, to a high standard, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
